President's Message
 I recently had the good fortune to sail slowly down the Rhine on River Cloud, a luxurious river boat, with 88 other passengers from all over Europe, the United States and Australia. We visited Amsterdam, Cologne, Freiburg and Strasbourg, and sailed past countless majestic castles, lush vineyards and charming villages. Each meal on board was a culinary delight, graciously served by a charming, youthful crew. The diversity of the guests made for lively dinner conversation. Many of them were celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, but most importantly, all were celebrating life!
These have been trying times and many people are feeling the "pinch," but life is for living and memories are to be created and shared. Time will not wait. My fellow cruisers know that. They are putting the art of Van Gogh and Rembrandt and the majestic cathedrals of Cologne and Strasbourg into their memory banks. They will treasure the times spent sipping champagne in the elegant lounge of River Cloud, making new friends, listening to piano music and drifting past story-book castles.
They went home rested, well-fed, more educated and more worldly, reliving the voyage with the photos taken and shared. They will enjoy the most wonderful dividend of all: a return on life!
