A former high school French teacher, Helene's love of travel began when she was fortunate enough to spend her college junior year in Paris. She progressed from an agent to an owner. Her addiction to the travel industry and her curiosity about new destinations continues unabated. Europe, in particular France and Italy, is her favorite destination and she's extremely knowledgeable about luxury hotels throughout the world. Helene has attended the International Luxury Travel Mart in Cannes, France for the past two years and the Italian Tourist board Symposiums in Umbria and The Veneto which got her off the beaten track in Italy. Recently she went on a great cruise along the Dalmatian coast. She continues to learn how many extraordinary places there are in our world.

Mary is the manager of our accounting department. Mary makes sure the final process keeps up with all the activities of a busy, growing office. She supports our agents by assisting with their paperwork and makes this department run efficiently and effectively.

Holly was an agent for SingerTravel from 1990 -2000. After the birth of her two sons, she moved to the accounting department on a part-time basis. Holly's knowledge from the agent's point of view makes her particularly qualified to help Accounting deal with agent and client questions. Singer Travel is very fortunate to have her expertise.

Joan is SingerTravel's Director of Group Sales and Cruise Center. Her goal for Singer Travel is to become "the group specialists in Berks County." With almost three decades of experience in the travel industry, her pleasure is fulfilling the dreams of other people. She is well qualified to meet her objective. Joan is an accredited Cruise Counselor. She thinks group travel is great because of the new friends one makes and it's an excellent way for families to create wonderful, lasting memories. "You have to work much smarter today," says Joan and she tries to make this her goal and adventure each day. Special Interests: Cruising everywhere and European destinations.

Judy's 30-plus-year career in the travel industry included working for two major airlines...even personally making reservations for Eddie Fisher and Pat Boone. In the course of those years, she feels she has done everything from stamping brochures to handling the work of a senior agent, a manager, and then finally agency owner for 15 years, before joining Singer Travel. Judy earned her CTC, Certified Travel Counselor, in 1981. She was also on the former Reading Airport Advisory Board and the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board for RACC. Judy likes all phases of leisure travel especially in Europe. Recently she took two cruises and spent a day aboard the Queen Mary II. She also believes that that travel should be a pleasurable experience and that without a travel agent, "You're on your own" without a back-up if special help is needed.

Olivia olivia@singertravel.com Celebrating her seventh anniversary with SingerTravel as of January 2007, Olivia is excited to be part of the agency family. Her curiosity has strengthened her abilities to increase her product knowledge; at the same time she is able to graciously help clients. Olivia is our "techie" and gets the call to help everyone with their computer challenges. In her work in the Group and Cruise Department, she is amazed at the constant daily changes and is always up to the challenge. Her greatest reward from her job is to see the joy clients experience from the vacation of their dreams. Special Interests: Group Travel, Cruising, Disney and the Caribbean. Jill jill@singertravel.com Jill joined the SingerTravel family in 1995 after 12 years as a corporate on-site travel professional and an agency owner. Jill brings her corporate travel experience and industry knowledge to bear on the challenges of trip planning in an ever-changing, dynamic business climate. She provides the flexibility, speed and deftness that makes for virtually painless business travel for her clients. Doris doris@singertravel.com Doris specializes in international and upscale travel. She is working to achieving her goal of visiting 100 countries and becoming a member of the Travelers' Century Club. As a veteran agent, Doris has an excellent relationship with her clients and ensures that their trips are as enjoyable as possible. Special interests: Europe, Hawaii, and Cruising. Suzanne sue@singertravel.com Sue has been a travel consultant since 1979. She's been with Singer Travel since 1993 and is now the leisure manager for the agency. She offers expertise in cruises and also to destinations such as Disney parks, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Caribbean islands. Sue can "book anything" and loves the dynamics of an industry where there is a tremendous variety of choices and constant change. Finding the best possible package for her clients, and handling any problems that arise are the challenges of her job. The reward is talking to the clients after they return to hear how much they enjoyed their vacation. In addition to traveling, Sue enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Linda linda@singertravel.com Because she's been in the travel business since 1968, Linda knew the industry in its pre-computer days of hand-written tickets, limited choices, and the big books that posted schedules and prices for air travel. "I'm one of the few who can still function when the computer goes down," she notes. Linda stresses the importance of an agent to a successful corporate or leisure trip. She is currently devoting most of her time to the corporate side of the business. Lynn lynn@singertravel.com Lynn has been in the travel business since 1988. She started her career in hotel management. Today she specializes in corporate, group and family travel, booking meetings, and honeymoons. Lynn enjoys doing individualized foreign travel, using SingerTravel's world-wide network of on-site colleagues. Lynn is our resident expert on Wanderweg, a touring company specializing in Swiss and Austrian hiking tours. Recently she visited the Riviera Maya in Mexico adding to her expertise about the Caribbean. Lynn has completed the Official Cancun Counselor Certification, offered by the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau and she is working on her Spa Certification with Spa Finders.		Anita anita@singertravel.com Anita graduated from Southeastern Academy of Travel and Tourism in 1990 and has booked corporate and leisure travel ever since. She enjoys the challenge of booking custom designed travel and off-the-beaten path destinations. Anita loves all-inclusive Caribbean Resorts and enjoys ziplining through the jungle and would like to go tandem hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro. Africa and Thailand are on her "wish-list" for destinations to visit in the future. Jeri jeri@singertravel.com Jeri recently joined SingerTravel as an administrative assistant. In addition to being a "Gal Friday" for Helene, she is developing and servicing the agency's corporate contacts. Jeri has been an attorney, teacher, and non-profit executive and is enjoying work at Singer as part of her active "retirement." Don joan@singertravel.com Like many SingerTravel staff members, Don moved to his career as a travel agent from another profession. As a minister he loved traveling and working with people. After his retirement from church leadership, he used his skills to become a group tour leader. Don notes a great increase in travel among Americans who now have more resources and free time and are becoming exposed to the opportunities for travel from the Internet. His goals are to get the best quality tour for the most reasonable price and to help the participants in his travel groups. Don gains tremendous satisfaction from seeing travelers learn to understand and appreciate other cultures and he enjoys working for Helene Singer because of the trust and confidence that she has in her employees. Recently Don has traveled to Egypt, Holland, and Italy. Gerry gerrybry@verizon.net Gerry is one of our outside sales agents. She owned her own travel business since 1984. Gerry has enjoyed more than 15 cruises and has personally traveled to many island destinations. She enjoys leisure travel in the U.S., to the islands, on cruise ships, and to international destinations. She enjoys working with people and helping them to create their ultimate vacation plan. Special Interests: All-inclusive Vacations, Caribbean, Bahamas, Cruising, and Mexico. Debi singertravel@msn.com Debi has had a long love affair with the world of travel. She worked as a ticket agent for Bar Harbor Airlines and as a flight attendant for New York Air and Continental Airlines. A graduate of Central Travel School, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Visits to many countries in Western Europe and even Thailand have only increased her desire to travel to new destinations. Debi lives in Mendham, NJ, with her husband and two sons. They recently took a Disney Adventure Family Vacation and she is enthusiastically recommending these tours to her clients. Debi is also the owner of Luxurious Living and is a writer for "the L List" — a luxury lifestyle newsletter.
